Some simple ways to be an ally to our Trans friends are:
Respect names and pronouns — and correct yourself without making it about you when you mess up.
Listen to trans voices and lived experiences rather than assuming or speaking over them.
Educate yourself about gender diversity so trans people aren’t always tasked with teaching.
Speak up against transphobia in conversations, workplaces, schools, and online spaces.
Advocate for inclusive policies in healthcare, education, housing, and employment.
Create safer spaces where trans people feel affirmed, believed, and protected.
Challenge harmful stereotypes and misinformation when you encounter them.
Support trans-led organizations and initiatives with your time, resources, and visibility.
